Work available in residential aged care
As an operational arm of the Baptist Union of Queensland, Carinity provides a range of community services, including residential aged care.
Carinity has some work available in Support Services (kitchen, cleaning, and laundry) and in Personal Care (assisting residents with activities of daily living). We would encourage applications from candidates that uphold our Christian ethos and genuine care for our elderly residents.
There is no qualification requirement for working in Support Services.
While it is preferred that Personal Carers come with a Certificate III in aged or community care, we can provide a two hour course to candidates with the right aptitude, which would enable them to start work as a Personal Carer.
There is a requirement to have (or be willing to have) a national criminal history check, and a current influenza vaccination (or evidence of contraindication).
